The Knowledge Foundation, org.no. 802400-4213 is the personal data controller for the processing of personal data on this website. Personal data is any information that either directly or indirectly can be linked to an identifiable living person. Examples of what constitutes personal data are names, personal identification numbers, images and e-mail addresses.

When and why we collect personal data

When you send an e-mail to us, visit our website, submit an application through the application and reporting portal, are hired as a consultant or reviewer, register for an event or sign up for our newsletter, the Knowledge Foundation can gain access to your personal data.

The personal data is used to process project applications and carry out assessments, decide on grant allocation and sign agreements with universities for financing projects and follow-up these projects during and after the project period. Some personal data are used for project follow-up purposes and for the Knowledge Foundation to be able to comply with the legal rules by which the Knowledge Foundation is established.
